All set for first-ever Mr World Bangladesh

Rohit Khandelwa (L) and Jessia Islam (M)After organising the ‘Miss World Bangladesh’ leading two beauty pageants representing the country in the global platforms, event management firm Antar Showbiz has now moved to organise ‘Mister World Bangladesh’.
Registration has opened for males aged between 18 and 27, said the organisers.
Winners will represent Bangladesh in the Mister World 2019 in Manila slated for August this year.
“Bangladesh’s girl have earned accolade in the ‘Miss World’ competitions. Now, we want to organise ‘Mister World Bangladesh’ for our boys,” Antar Showbiz Chairman Shapan Chowdhury said on Monday (Jul 15).
Jessia Islam and Jannatul Ferdous Oishi were crowned as the winner of Miss World Bangladesh in 2017 and 2018 and subsequently represented Bangladesh in the 'Miss World' in the respective years.

This year, 100 contestants will seek the ‘Mr World’ crown at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, one of Asia’s largest indoor arenas, in Manila, the Philippines on Aug 6 with the final taking place on Aug 23, according to the website of the competition.
The Festival will begin with an Olympic style opening ceremony where contestants across the globe will compete in the three-week event to be ‘the world’s most desirable man’.
Last year, Rohit Khandelwa from India was crowned the Mr World tile, according to its website.
