Ex-Warfaze Vocal and Guitarist Balam joined country’s one of the most popular band LRB on Friday (Apr 5).

It was also the bands' 28th founding anniversary.

Members of the band made the official announcement at a press conference at a restaurant at capital's New Baily Road.

Balam will have to fill in the shoes of legendary singer, guitarist, and songwriter Ayub Bachchu. AB, as he was popularly known among the fans died of heart failure on Oct 18, 2018.

Bachchu, the lead guitarist of musical band LRB, was born in Chittagong. He debuted in the music industry with the song “Harano Bikeler Golpo.”

Regarding joining the LRB band, Balam said, “I grew up listening to Ayub Bachchu’s song. His songs inspired me.

“I can never be like him. That’s not our goal. Our goal is to maintain the respect of brother Bachchu and his band,” he added.
