Defying his self-created customs of not using others people’s lyrics and tune, popular Indian Bangla singer Anupom Roy now gave voice in a song of the Bangladeshi composers.
On Thursday (Jan 24), the G Series released its music video titled ‘Parchi To Khub’ on YouTube featuring popular actress Mehjabin Chowdhury and actor SN Jony.
Jewel Rana directed the music video while Omar Farook Bishal composed the lyric and Robin Islam did the tune.
Speaking to Bangla Tribune from Kolkata, Anupon Roy, “I was very fascinated after seeing that each line of the song carries a message.”
"I usually don't do playbacks other than the films," Roy said adding that he listened the song track for several times.
"Lyrics, tune and everything was really nice. So, I didn't dare (to) say no," said Roy, who is a recipient of India' National Film Award for Best Lyrics and Filmfare Award for Best Background Score.
