British-Bangladeshi actress Afshan Azad, who worked in five of the Harry Potter movies, has tied the knot.
Afshan, who played Padma Patil in the movie, married British-Bangladeshi Nabil Kazi on Aug 19 in Bangladesh.
Afshan took to the social media posting an image from the ceremony and wrote, “Incredibly blessed. After a year of planning on my own, the tears and tantrums, today was an absolute dream. Married and moved out of Manchester to start my new life. Thank you to my incredible family and friends, without you I’m nothing. Best wedding ever, even if I do say so myself! Keep us in your prayers.”
The wedding reception turned out to be sort of a Hogwarts reunion as two of Afshan’s co-stars in the movies Bonnie Wright and Katie Leung who played the characters of Ginny Wesley and Cho Chang joined her on the special day.
Bonnie posted the photo of the trio on Instagram with the caption, “Over the moon to have been there with you today Afshan. We love you so much! Congratulations to you and Nabil, wishing you so much joy in your married life together.”
Katie shared a similar snap writing, “Celebrating our beautiful bride Afshan’s special day.”
