A man has been killed after he was hit by a CNG-run three-wheeler in the capital’s Bhatara area.

The incident was reported around 5.30am on Monday (Dec 16), said police.

The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Bacchu Miah, a resident of Badda.

According to the victim’s relative Saidula Islam, he was taken to Kurmitola General Hospital and later transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the doctor declared him dead around 9am.

DMCH police camp In-Charge Bacchu Miah said, the body has been kept at the hospital for autopsy.
