In pictures: Bangladesh-Manchester inaugural flight

Bangladesh has resumed flights to Manchester with two brand-new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners after suspending flights on the route for seven years. Launched on Jan 5, Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate flight from the northern England city to Dhaka and Sylhet on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a flight time of 10 hours.

Home to approximately 90,000 Bangladeshi expatriates, Manchester will be the hub of the Biman’s upcoming route to New York and Toronto respectively. The Dreamliners has a capacity of 24 seats in business class and 247 in economy class with economy fares start from around £580 return and business class return fares are available from around £1,500.
