BTCL offers on-net unlimited talk-time on landline phones

Besides, the public switched telephone network (PSTN) operator also fixed off-net (BTCL to other operators) call charge at Taka 0.52 per minute and this offer would be effective from Aug 16.
The decision was taken at a meeting with Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar in the chair at the secretariat, reports BSS on Wednesday (Aug 7).
The minister asked all concerned of BTCL to work with sincerity, dedication and highest service attitude to turn the company into a pro-people and profitable one.
Meanwhile, BTCL has implemented different initiatives such as change of demand note for connection, customer service automation, bd domain etc to make it a modern organization.
Mustafa Jabbar gave the BTCL further instructions so the customers could avail services staying at home for the automation.
Referring to BTCL’s countrywide network, he laid emphasis on utilizing this network properly.
Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary Ashoke Kumar Biswas, BTCL Managing Director Iqbal Mahmud and officials concerned were present at the meeting.
