Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) is going to hold its second public hearing on telecoms services and its activities in the Dhaka on Jun 12.
BTRC Senior Assistant Director Zakir Hossain told UNB on Thursday (May 23) said the public hearing will be held at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
Government, non-government, autonomous organizations, telecommunication service providers, mobile phone users, consumer associations and interested groups will be able to join the public hearing.
Customers’ allegations against mobile phone operators, including call drops, different packages and prices of voice calls, will be heard from the participants at the event.
Interested people have been requested to register their names online within Jun 3 at www.btrc.gov.bd/registration-form- to participate in the public hearing.
The telecom regulator held its first public hearing over two years ago in November 2016.
