Bangladesh received a setback ahead of the Women’s World T20I Qualifiers as Rumana Ahmed was ruled out due to a knee injury.
Bangladesh Cricket Board women’s wing manager Nazmul Abedeen confirmed the unavailability of the Bangladesh ODI captain to the media on Friday (Aug 9) in Mirpur.
He said, “The way she is recovering, we can’t keep her in contention. It will take some time before she recovers fully. It is a big loss. We will miss her in the middle-order batting.”
