FILE PHOTOA total of three fifties by Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan helped Bangladesh to score a moderated total against West Indies in the second ODI at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday (Dec 11).
Bangladesh scored 255 for seven wickets in 50 overs.
All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan struck a half-century. He scored 65 off 62 balls.
Middle-order batsman Mushfiqur Rahim got out after scoring 62 off 80 balls with five boundaries before losing his wicket to Windies pacer Oshane Thomas.
Mushfiq had earlier formed a 111-run partnership with opener Tamim Iqbal for the third wicket.
Tamim scored a half-century off 61 balls and got out one delivery later. He tried a slog sweep against leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo in 23.3 overs only to get caught by deep square leg fielder Kemar Roach.
Bangladesh lost their first wicket early in the third ball of the fourth over when opener Imrul Kayes got out scoring 0 off 6 deliveries. He was caught behind the wicket against Thomas.
Imrul came out to bat after Liton Das was injured and carried away by a stretcher.

Earlier, the West Indies' stand-in captain Rovman Powell has won the toss and elected to bowl first.

The Tigers lead the series 1-0 after winning the first match by five wickets at the same venue Sunday (Dec 9).
