India have clinched the SAFF U15 Women’s Championship 2018 title beating Bangladesh 1-0.
The final match was played at the Changlimithang Stadium in Bhutanese capital Thimpu on Saturday (Aug 18).
India’s Sunita Munda scored the match’s lone goal from a short corner in the 66th minute taking her side the lead of the game.
With Bangladesh claiming the runners-up, Bhutan secured the third spot beating Nepal in the 3rd place decider.
Bangladesh, however, have been awarded the fair play trophy for the best disciplinary record in the tournament.
