Letter of BNPThe BNP has written a letter to the Prime Minister’s office, requesting details about Indo-Bangladesh agreements made recently during PM Sheikh Hasina’s trip to India.

On Sunday (Nov 17), BNP’s Joint Secretaries General, Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and Khairul Kabir delivered the letter.

Member of BNP’s press wing, Samsuddin Didar, says: “The letter was handed to PM's Special Assistant Biplob Barua.”

The PM is on an official tour to UAE and I am accepting the letter on her behalf, he said.

The letter requests the assessment of agreements made recently with India and other countries to determine if they have any clauses that go against the interest of the country.

Alal said: “The letter was given because in parliament our MPs raised the issue several times but their notice was ignored and they were prevented from talking.”
