BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called the leaders and activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir to free the nation from a fascist rule
Mirza Fakhrul made the call after the top leaders of the Jamaat-e-Islami's student wing met him on Thursday (Nov 14), said a media statement issued by Shibir Publicity Secretary Shahadat Hossain on Friday (Nov 15).
The senior BNP leader said the students are sacrificing their lives to oppose the misrule of the incumbent government. Students and youths have to keep a bold role to protect Islam, democracy, and country as well as its sovereignty. Students will free the nation from the fascist rule and called Shibir can keep a brave role in this regard, read the statement.
Mirza Fakhrul said the fascists know they will fall down if students and youths oppose them. which is why they continue to oppress the students, it added.
During the meet, Shibir leaders inquired about the health of jail BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, according to the statement.
