CourtesyRuling Awami League (AL) has asked its all organizational units at city, district, upazlia and union across the country to send details on their leaders and activists within two weeks.
The decision came at a special organizational meeting of AL’s Dhaka Davison unit at the party’s central office in the capital’s Bangabandhu Avenue on Saturday (Jun 15).
AL Secretary General and Road Transport Minister Obaidul Quader attended the meeting as chief guest with Acting Joint-General Secretary of AL’s Dhaka Davison unit and Education Minister Dipu Moni in the chair.
At the meeting, Quader asked the leaders to follow the party chief’s instructions and resolve disputes at grass-roots.
Leaders of the Dhaka Division unit also raised their complaints on different issues such as inclusion of party members from the families of anti-liberation quarters.
Quader, however, assured them that he would place the issues at the next meeting of the party’s working committee.
