Jatiya Oikya Front’s public hearing led by Dr Kamal Hossain will be a public farce, commented Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.
His remarks came on Thursday (Feb 14) during a media briefing at the AL president’s Dhanmondi office.
Responding to queries about BNP-Oikya Front’s threats about going to the electoral tribunal, Quader said, “We will fight back if they file cases.”
He said that when a political party repeatedly fails to wage a movement then they have no other way than to resort to complaints and cases to “Preserve their existence.”
“This is all they can they do to keep up the spirits of their activists,” he added.
Talking about the AL’s next council, the road, transport and bridges minister said that they might hold it in October.
