Oikya Front leaders to visit Sylhet on Monday

Jatiya Oikya Front leaders speak  to media in Dhaka on Thursday (Jan 3)Leaders of Jatiya Oikya Front will go to Sylhet’s Balaganj on Monday (Jan 14) to visit the family of its activist who was gunned down during the 11th Parliamentary Election.
The alliance delegation will leave the capital for Balaganj at 10am, Oikya Front leader Jahangir Alam Mintu told Bangla Tribune on Sunday (Jan 13).
Oikya Front spokesperson and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Rob) chief Abdur Rob, Krishak Sramik Janata League President Abdul Kader Siddiqui, Gono Forum General Secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu and Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna will be among the delegation.
They will also visit several polls violence-hit areas in the Upazila before returning to Dhaka.
Sayem Ahmed, a leader of BNP’s student front Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, was shot to death during a clash over capturing the upazila’s Azizpur Government Primary School polling centre on the voting day on Dec 30.
