Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will invite other political parties to Gano Bhaban, said Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader while talking to district, upazila officials and municipal mayors on Sunday (Jan 13).

Before the 11 Parliamentary Elections, the party chief Sheikh Hasina invited all the parties to dialogue and we will invite them once more, as per the instruction of the PM, he added.

Saying that the PM will be inviting other parties to political dialogue, he said, “All parties will be invited.”

We took part in election with the desire to offer a free, fair elections, he said and added, “We always want a competitive election and expect that the opposition parties will take part in upazila elections.”

Referring to Dr. Kamal’s statement that he would not have gone to election had he known of BNP-Jamaat alliance, Quader said, “BNP had always been with Jamaat and Dr. Kamal knowingly entered the alliance.”
