Dr Kamal vows not to quit polls “no matter what”

“The government has launched attacks on us in a bid to make us quit the polls. But we won’t back out even if we die,” Dr Kamal said on Monday (Dec 17).
Dr Kamal, who is the president of Gano Forum, made the vow while briefing the media after a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda in the later’s office in the city’s Agargaon area.
Dr Kamal, however, alleged that the Election Commission is not fully exercising its given authority.
A delegation of Jatiya Oikya Front, led by the Gano Forum chief, met the CEC in the afternoon.
The other delegation members were Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, ASM Abdur Rob, Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Mostafa Mohsin Montu and Khairul Kabir Khokon.
