Supporters of Awami League’s candidate for Dhaka-10 constituency (Dhanmondi-Kalabagan-Hazaribag-New Market) Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nur Tapash were seen hanging posters in their respective electoral areas.Election campaign has kicked off across the county as soon as the Election Commission finished allocating symbols to candidates on Monday (Dec 10). Supporters of candidates spent hours on Monday to hang posters in a festive mood.
Supporters of Awami League’s candidate for Dhaka-10 constituency (Dhanmondi-Kalabagan-Hazaribag-New Market) Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nur Tapash and Dhaka-13 (Mohammad-Adabar) candidate Sadek Khan were seen hanging posters in their respective electoral areas.
Awami League General Secretary for Dhanmondi ward 17, Mahbubur Rahman Mahbub told Bangla Tribune, “We have started campaigning for our candidate according to the rules and regulations set by the Election Commission.”
“We are expecting our candidate Sheikh Fazle Nur Tapash to win his seat with a big margin,” said Mahbub.
Supporters of Awami League’s candidate for Dhaka-13 (Mohammad-Adabar) candidate Sadek Khan were seen hanging posters in their respective electoral areas.In Dhaka-13, supporters of Sadek Khan were seen putting up posters in Townhall and Nobodoy Housing areas in Mohammadpur.
AL President Sheikh Hasina will formally start her party's mega campaign from Tungipara in Gopalganj on Wednesday after paying tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his resting place.
Jatiya Oikya Front will start their campaign on the same day as well from Sylhet after offering prayers at the two shrines.
Supporters of different party and alliance candidates have also started campaigning in full swing for their chosen candidate to get elected in the polls.
