The Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) has finalised its candidates for the 300 parliamentary constituencies for the 11th National Election slated for Dec 30.

Party chief Syed Md Rezaul Karim alias Chormonai Pir nominated the candidates on Saturday (Nov 17).

As Saturday was the last day to submit IAB’s nomination forms, supporters gathered in front of the party office at the city’s Paltan since the morning.

Forms collection started in the morning and continued till noon.

The IAB chief unveiled the final list of the aspirants after going through the forms filed by aspirants.

Addressing the supporters, Karim said, “People’s fundamental rights are yet to be established even after 47 years of independence.”

“No past government did anything to develop the country and its people rather they built fortunes for themselves and their parties’,” he said.
