Ruling Awami League has said the announcement of the schedule for 11th National Election has cleared all confusion over the polls.
“We are hopeful the polls will be held as per the schedule and it’s the ethical duty of all political parties to take part in it,” Joint Secretary General Mahbubul Alam Hanif on Thursday (Nov 8) in an instant reaction.
Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda announced the schedule for the general election setting Dec 23 for the voting.
The Commission also fixed Nov 19 as the deadline for the submitting the nominations, which will be scrutinised on Nov 22.
The deadline from pulling out of the race has been fixed Nov 29.
