The Jatiya Oikya Front’s road march to Rajshahi scheduled for Thursday (Nov 8) has been postponed, said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, a key leader of the newly formed alliance.
Speaking to the media at the BNP chief’s Gulshan offices on Wednesday, he, however, said that the public rally in the northern city scheduled for Friday will be held.
The road march was announced by Mirza Fakhrul on Tuesday (Nov 6) at the Oikya Front’s first Dhaka rally at the capital’s Suhrawardy Udyan.
