Senior BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has met Krishak Sramik Janata League President Abdul Kader Siddique at his residence.
The BNP secretary general had an hour-long meeting with Kader Siddque at his Mohammadpur residence on Tuesday, Krishak Sramik Janata League Joint Secretary Iqbal Siddique told Bangla Tribune.
“The BNP secretary general had come for a meeting. The media will be briefed at 12pm tomorrow (Wednesday) at the party offices by Kader Siddique,” he said.
Speculations are rife that Kader Siddique is likely to join the newly-formed political coalition Jatiya Oikya Front.
Last week, he met the alliance’s leader Gano Forum chief Dr Kamal Hossain at his residence, after which he told the media that he ‘wants to work’ with the senior lawyer.
