The BNP has announced a rally in Dhaka for Sep 1 to mark the party’s 40th founding anniversary.
The party is considering the Suhrawardy Udyan or the street in front of the Naya Paltan headquarters as the venue, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on Tuesday.
“We will write to the public works ministry and the DMP commissioner seeking clearance for the rally,” he told a media call at the party offices.
