BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has regretted the failure to wage the movement against incumbent government.
“When I think why we can’t come out of home and can’t take to the street against this illegal government I reprimand myself then,” Rizvi said on Monday (Aug 12).
Speaking at a commemoration of jailed BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s youngest son Arafat Rahman Coco in city, The BNP senior leader said, “The Prime Minister visited the people who attacked the school students during the campaign for safer roads but she did not saw the injured students.”
“We are living in a reign of cruelty,” he said.
On Coco, the BNP leader said, “A sports-loving Koko was not involved in politics and cordial to everyone.”
