An alleged drug peddler has been killed in what the Rapid Action Battalion described in a shootout in Dhaka’s Hazaribag.
The incident was reported from near Shikdar Medical College late on Tuesday (Nov 19), RAB Legal and Media Wing Senior Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman said.
The deceased has been identified as Nadim Bahadur, who RAB claim is a listed drug peddler.
“There are nine lawsuits against him [Nadim],” Mizanur Rahman said before adding that a foreign gun, ammunition and large amount of narcotics was recovered from him.
