Pulse Healthcare Service celebrates World Diabetes Day

To mark the day, a four-day event has been organized in Dhaka and Sylhet to create awareness of management, care and prevention of diabetes, said a press release.
The event was inaugurated at the Shwapno outlet in the capital's Gulshan 1 on Wednesday (Nov 13).
President of Diabetic Association of Bangladesh Professor AK Azad Khan, Founder of Pulse Rubaba Dowla, and Executive Director of ACI Logistics Limited (Shwapno) Sabbir Hasan Nasir were present at the event.
The campaign will continue at Shwapno outlets in Dhaka's Mirpur 11, Uttara 3, and Gulshan 1 and Sylhet's Ambar Khana from 11am to 8pm daily till Nov 16.
Prof Khan said, “Diabetic Association of Bangladesh is proud to help bring access to online healthcare to the people of Bangladesh.
"This is only the start of what I believe to be the full digitization of healthcare in this country” he added.

"Our hope is that this event at Shwapno will create awareness of digital healthcare and the numerous possibilities brought forward by telemedicine” she added.
During the four-day campaign, customers will enjoy free registration to Pulse Healthcare Platform, free onsite health checkup including blood glucose, blood pressure and BMI checkup in addition to free doctor consultation and a special offer for Pulse 24/7 Doctor Call Center.
Pulse works to ensure direct access to healthcare through its dedicated call centre along with other online services including online appointment booking, video consultation, file-sharing and electronic medical record storage.
Doctors and patients can register in the Pulse platform for free while consultation doctor's fee is applicable.
Beside, Pulse offers a 12-month membership for Tk 499 to access 24/7 call center in partnership with Ibrahim Healthline to consult with doctors, which patients can purchase from the app/web platform.
Pulse app is now available in Google Playstore and IOS Appstore with more details can be found on its website.
