Dhaka South City councillor Sayed removed from office

An order has been issued by the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives on Thursday (Oct 17) in this regard.
The order said it is alleged that Sayed had been absent in 13 meetings out of 18 and made overseas trips without the ministry’s prior permission.
As Sayed failed to defend himself and allegations were proved led to his removal from the office, it added.
