Expelled Jubo League leader Ismail Chowdhury Samrat went into hiding within two days of the ongoing illegal casino raids across the country, said Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General (DG) Benazir Ahmed.
It took the elite force them more time than usual to locate the actual whereabouts of Samrat, he said while speaking to the media at the RAB Headquarters in the capital on Sunday (Oct 6).
Benazir said, “Due to the media’s constant writing about Samrat, he applied various techniques so that law enforcement agencies could not locate him."
The RAB chief warned that the crackdown on would continue in the upcoming days.
