Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted that rain may occur in many parts of the country in the next 24 hours on Friday (Sept 20).

“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Chattogram division and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over Chattogram division,” said a Met Office weather bulletin.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the bulletin.
