A physiotherapist working at Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed-CRP has died of dengue.
25-year-old Liton Malo died on Thursday (Aug 22) while he was taken to Enam Medical College & Hospital in Savar from his home town, said Mohshin Kabir Limon, the deceased’s teacher and in charge of geriatric medicine department of Bangladesh Probin Hospital in Dhaka’s Agargaon.
“Liton was released from Enam Medical College & Hospital in Savar after being treated there before Eid ul Azha. On Thursday, he suddenly became sick again and died on the way to the hospital.” said Kabir.
The hospital authorities found out he was undergoing plasma leaking but none of the symptoms were visible, added Kabir.
