A fire has broken out at a plastic factory in Lalbagh's Posta area in Old Dhaka.
The incident occurred around 10:45pm on Wednesday (Aug 14).
Over 15 firefighting units were at the spot to douse the fire, said Fire Service Central Control Room Duty Officer Babul Miah.

Duty officer of Fire Service headquarters Atikul Alam Chowdhury said, the fire was completely doused around 4am on Thursday (Aug 15).

“We have not received news of any casualties so far,” he said, adding that the cause of the fire and extent of damage could not be known yet.
