HSC exam results on Wednesday

HSC exam hall 2 April 2018 (Photo: Nashirul Islam)The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published on Wednesday (Jul 17), said a education ministry media release.

As per tradition, education minister Dr Dipu Moni will hand over the results of the HSC and its equivalent examinations to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban on 10am.

Later, the results will be published at a media briefing at the Education Ministry at 12:00 pm, said an education ministry press release.

Besides their institutions, the results will be available for the students from 1pm on the website of the education boards, www.educationboard.gov.bd and www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd.

The results will also be available on mobile phone via SMS.

To know the results, a student will have to type “HSCfirst three letters of boardroll number2019” and send SMS to 16222. They will get the result in a reply SMS.

Madrasa students will have to type “AlimMadroll number2019” and send SMS to 16222. They will get the result in a reply SMS.

For vocational board students, the SMS should read “HSCTecroll number2019” and be set to 16222.

The students will be able to apply for re-evaluation between July 18 and 24.

They will have to write "RSCfirst three letters of board’s nameroll numbersubject code" and send to 16222.

Subject codes can be put in one SMS with commas between them. The students will be charged up to Tk 300 per subject for re-evaluation.

The HSC and its equivalent examinations of 2019 began on Apr 1 and concluded on May 11.

A total of 13, 51,505 examinees from 9,081 educational institutions took part in the examinations across the country.
