A newborn has been found dead at Dhaka’s Rupnagar.
The body was recovered around 12pm on Saturday (May 25) in front of a building, said police.
After completing legal procedures, the body has been sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
"“Being informed by locals, police recovered the body which was left in front of a house at Road no 9 of the residential area,” Rupnagar police Sub-Inspector (SI) Parimal Chandra Sarker told Bangla Tribune.
Responding to a query, the police officer said an investigation has been launched and details can be provided after it is completed.
