Huawei donates equipment for special children

Zhang Zhengjun, CEO, Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd. handed over equipment to Sajida Rahman Danny, Chairman of PFDA-Vocational Training Center.Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd has donated necessary equipment to PFDA-Vocational Training Center.
In a program, arranged by the school authority, Zhang Zhengjun, CEO, Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd has handed over these equipment to the school authority on Thursday (May 23), said a media statement.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed, who was the chief guest in presence of Sajida Rahman Danny, Chairman of PFDA-Vocational Training Center and Huawei offcials.
Huawei officially handed over Ultra Sound therapy (UST), Ultra red radiation (IRR), Short wave diathermy (SWD), Short wave diathermy (SWD), Electrical muscle stimulator (EMS), Traction machine (Pelvic and cervical traction) with bed and other equipment to PFDA-Vocational Training Center.
These equipments will help this institute as well as the students to take immediate physical aids in emergencies and they will get necessary physiotherapy for their wellbeing.
“To help the special children, both public and private organizations should work hand in hand. And today, Huawei and PFDA-Vocational Training Center are setting a great example with that inspiration,” said Nuruzzaman Ahmed.
“The students of this institute have already proved that if we nurture them properly they can also come up with their capabilities,” he added.
In his opening speech, Zhang Zhengjun, CEO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd, “We care the development of local communities. In light of the special conditions and needs of Bangladesh, Huawei has come up with the topic for its social responsibility activities in the country.”
He said ‘In Bangladesh, For Bangladesh,’ is a charity program designed to help those suffer from the disadvantaged.
“Today we have another entity who holds a similar passion for the society. From Huawei, we carry the responsibility for supporting these special youth. We hope to contribute this type of activities in future to flourish them up to their maximum potential.”
“We pledge to create independent and practical living of our students by enhancing their learning abilities and heartily thanks Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd for contributing in this noble cause. Like Huawei we hope to see more organizations coming forward to nurture these special youth in future,” said Sajida Rahman Danny, Chairman of PFDA-Vocational Training Center.
