Some unidentified men gunned down Forhad Ali, an Awami League (AL) leader of north Badda unit in the capital on Friday.
The incident took place in front of the Baitus Salam mosque in the area after Jummah prayer, said the OC of Badda Police Station Nazrul Islam.
“Forhan Ali was shot while he was going out of the mosque after the Jummah prayer. The victim was rushed to the United Hospital where doctors declared him dead”, he added.
Police couldn’t say further issues relating to the killing immediately.
