The Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) Vice President-elect Nurul Hoque Nur will be announcing his decision on oath taking on Friday (Mar 22).
Meanwhile, he has already written to the treasurers to renovate his chamber in the DUCSU office.
On Tuesday (Mar 19) he told the media that his oath taking will depend on “what the students want.”
He pledged to stop the malpractice of politics influencing the allocation of hall seats, solving the existing problems in the halls, common rooms, guestrooms, canteen, library and reading rooms should he take oath.
The Mar 11 DUCSU polls, held after 28 years, was marred by allegations of vote rigging and irregularities and different panels that contested the elections announced protests demanding fresh polls.
