A fire, which erupted from gas connection leakage at the Old Dhaka’s Siddique Bazar area is now under control.
The incident was reported in front of Moti Sardar Jame Mosque in the area around 10pm on Friday (Feb 22), said the fire service office.
“It took three fire-fighting units to put out the fire,” said Fire Service and Civil Defense control room Duty Officer Mahfuz.
No casualties were reported, he added.
