Bangladeshi killed in Saudi Arabia road crash

Mamun ChowdhuryA Bangladeshi expatriate in Saudi Arabia has died in a road accident when he was hit by a car in Tabuk city.

The deceased has been identified as Mamun Chowdhury, 35, who hails from Cumilla’s Burichang upazila.  

The incident was reported around 1pm Sunday, Bangladesh time.

“The eldest son in the family, Mamun was the sole breadwinner since his father passed away,” Mamun’s cousin Md Mofizul Islam told Bangla Tribune.

“Mamun had been living in Tabuk for the last five years,” said Islam before adding that he visited his family ten months ago.
