The body of a security guard was found inside a Jamuna Bank ATM booth at the capital’s Vatara, says police.

The victim has been identified as Shamim, 24.

Police found the body around 6am on Monday (Jan 21) from the ATM booth, at Baridhara J block, Vatara police duty officer SI Bilkis Begum told Bangla Tribune.

“The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy,” she said adding that there were injury marks on the victim’s head.

Begum said, “We have collected the CC TV footage and looking into it.

The Bank authorities have been informed, she added.
