Reportedly, they have enlisted around 40 Rohingyas from the camps in Cox’s Bazar.
They planned to carry out attacks on thirty first night and target killings. The information has come to light from interrogating three extremists who were arrested and questioned by the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit.
The three arrested are: Abdul Hakim, Noman and Shafiq.

Thirty commando knives, one machete, 30 explosive containers and 1.5 kg explosives were recovered from them.
It’s believed that keeping the election in view, several proscribed Islamist parties have become active with Hizbut Tahrir distributing anti-democracy leaflets is several parts of Dhaka.
CTTC officials say that members of radical parties take democracy as an ideology of the heretics.

The explosive containers can be used to make grenades, they added.
Deputy Commissioner of CTTC, Rahmatullah Chowdhury, says, “The extremists are trying to prove their existence and are engaged in luring the Rohingyas into joining their cause.”
Two persons, one in Saudi and the other in Malaysia, have been identified who have been providing support to JMB for a long time, he added.
The person residing in Saudi Arabia is Abdur Rakib, a close relative of Shayakh Abdur Rahman, a leading JMB leader in Bangladesh.
