Police have been given three days in custody to quiz a man over the death of his two-year-old son, who was found dead in their city’s Bangla Motor residence on Wednesday (Dec 3).
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Dheeman Chandra Mandul passed the order on Thursday (Dec 4) after police produced Nuruzzaman Kajol before it seeking 10 days in remand.
On Wednesday, victim’s mother filed a complaint case against Kajol with Shahbag police, which was later recorded as a case.
Police recovered the body of the victim, Shafayet, and rescued his elder brother from a house in Bangla Motor area and arrested their father Kajol.
