5-member body formed over IU question paper errors

Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia. FILE PHOTOThe authorities of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday formed a five-member body to probe the allegation of errors in question paper of its ‘C’ unit admission test.
IU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari formed the probe body headed by marketing department chairman Prof Dr M Zakaria Rahman and asked it to submit a report within five working days, officials said.
The other members of the probe body are Prof M Saiful Islam of the Management Department, Prof Dr M Johurul Islam of the Law Department, Prof Dr Paresh Chandra Barman of Information and Communication Engineering Department and Prof Dr M Zakir Hossain of the Accounting and Information Systems Department, reports BSS.
Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari said they will take essential steps about the C-unit entry test after getting the probe report.
The admission test of ‘C’ unit under the university’s Business Administration Faculty was held on Monday over errors between question paper and Optical Mark Reader (OMR).
