Three Additional Inspectors General of Police (Addl IGPs) have been transferred and given new postings.
The home ministry issued a notification on the matter on Thursday (Oct 18).
Additional IGP Mohammad Abul Quashem of Railway Police has been transferred to Anti-Terrorism Unit while Additional IGP of Police Headquarters Md Mohsin Hossain replaced Quashem.
Additional IGP of the Anti-Terrorism Unit Md Shafiqul Islam has shifted to the Police Headquarters.
