The admission test results of the Dhaka University’s first-year undergraduate courses under ‘Gha’ unit for the academic session 2018-19 have been announced with a pass rate of 26.21 percent, up from 14 percent last year.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the results at central admission office in the university’s administrative building on Tuesday.
The results are available on the university website www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd. Alternatively, students can get the results through sending SMS using any mobile operator. To get result through SMS, one will have to type “DU GHA roll number” and send it to 16321.
Students who obtained the pass marks have been asked to fill in the subject choice forms from Oct 22 to 31.
Earlier on Monday, hours after issuing a press release on publishing the results today (Tuesday), the Dhaka University authorities issued another press release saying that the result publishing has been postponed as per the directives of the VC over the allegation of question paper leak.
