The trial court dealing with the 21 Aug grenade attack, will deliver its verdict in September, says the Law Minister Anisul Huq.
The minister emerged with the comment in a discussion meeting at the National Press Club in the capital on Sunday.
Court deliberations are ongoing over the accused in the attack, former state minister for home, Lutfozzaman Babar and the arguments will be wrapped up within Aug 26,27, and 28., he said.
In the case, total 52 accused while 17 are still at large.
In the grenade attack on an AL rally on 21 Aug, 2004, 22 persons, including AL’s women affairs secretary Ivy Rahman was killed.
