Two people have been killed and another injured in separate incidents in Dhaka.
The incidents were reported from the city’s Diyabari and Darussalam areas on Saturday (Aug 18).
Thirty-five-year old Rashedul Islam was hit by a bus of Alaif Paribahan when he was crossing a road adjacent to a slum in Diyabari dam area at 7:30am, leaving him seriously injured.
He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 12:30pm.
Two people sustained injuries after a wheel of a vehicle burst when they were pumping air to it at a repairing shop in Darussalam area at 10am.
Injured Lokman Ahmed, 25, and Md Ramiz, 17, were taken to Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.
Later, Lokman was referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 12pm.
