Police have been given three days to interrogate Faria Mahjabin in custody.
Twenty eight-year-old Faria was produced in court on Friday (Aus 17), when police pleaded for a 7-day remand.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate AKM Moin Uddin Siddiquee, however, granted three days, General Registration Officer of the court Mokbul Rahman told Bangla Tribune.
On Thursday (Aug 16), Rapid Action Battalion arrested Faria in a case over spreading rumours and sharing inciting posts on social media during the student protests for safer roads under the ICT Act.
