Home minister to meet transport owners

Photo: SAZZAD HOSSAIN/ Bangla TribuneHome Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal will hold a meeting with the transport owners and workers on Wednesday (Nov 20) night, as a continuation of meeting on Tuesday.

Public Relations Officer of the Home Minister Md Sharif Mahmud confirmed the matter to Bangla Tribune on Wednesday morning.

He said, "The home minister will meet with all the senior leaders of the movement at 9 pm at his Dhanmondi residence."

Several networks of workers and transport owners have begun their strike across the country since Monday (Nov 18) demanding the amendment of the new Road Transport Act.
