Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Dil Monowara Monu, a senior journalist and former executive editor of fortnightly ‘Ananya’.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family, reports state news agency BSS.
Monu, also a woman journalist leader, died at BIRDEM Hospital in Dhaka in the early hours of Monday (Oct 14), family sources said.
